CNC Machinist

Summary : The Machinist is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating conventional, special purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic components made from castings, forgings, and stamped steel materials. This is a Monday through Thursday day shift role with overtime sometimes required on a Friday and / or Saturday. The Machinist is expected to be able to program, read blueprints / CAD drawings, adjust offsets and change inserts, change out jobs with appropriate tooling, set-up and qualify first article parts. Supports the production requirements for all work cells. Prioritizes daily work based on Safety, Quality, and Productivity requirements.
