Responsible for Cage Department operations for an assigned shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• General cashiering when needed, verifying previous bank count sheet, counting down at end of shift and reconcile to imprest.
• Conduct transactions with other departments.
• Verifies previous main bank count sheet.
• Verification of soft count drops.
• Ensures cage compliance with Federal and State Regulations.
• Overseeing / supervision of front window cashiers and administering breaks, verifying banks prior to cashiers’ departure.
• Administer and enforce internal cash control procedures, investigate all variances incurred during shifts, and prepare required reports.
• New hire training.
• Handles customer complaints.
• Interacts effectively and professionally with the public and co-workers.
• Ensure department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards are followed and maintained.
• Any reasonable request made by your Cage Manager or any other Manager.
• Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
• Keep the work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
• Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : Directly supervises Cage employees on a given shift. Supervisory responsibilities include planning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining team members, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required. All Employees must be knowledgeable about all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Excellent employee and customer service skills are essential. Employees must present a well-groomed and professional appearance and be at least 21 years old.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : Must be able to obtain and maintain a Missouri Gaming License.
