Day in the Life

Bring your experience and ideas to help us ensure the growth of our company by supporting the manufacturing and creation of our aircraft. No matter where you are in the company you are critical to the success of Bell. As an Associate Industrial Engineer at Bell, you can expect to :

Responsibilities

• Support new product development and improvements to existing products and processes, by coordinating the manufacturing plan. This includes updating assembly operations, layouts, component processing, and operational safety as required.
• Review the design of new and existing components and products and recommend changes that will result in the most economical cost of production and manufacturing efficiency.
• Support outsourcing and / or insourcing initiatives through participation in cross-functional teams to implement and attain cost reduction, planning, and quality goals.
• Confer with shop floor and support functions to assist in resolving manufacturing problems (mechanical or electrical) that inhibit product delivery.
• Observe and analyze current methods and processes and make improvement recommendations to attain work simplification and standardization, quality improvement, and cost reduction.
• Support Data Analysis.
• Engage in environmental, employee health and safety and ergonomic efforts.
