job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) or equivalent At least 2-3 years demonstrable experience in the required skill areas Intermediate or Advanced circuit design and troubleshooting capabilities Intermediate or Advanced printed circuit board design and related software experience Electronic testing and troubleshooting to the component level Excellent technical documentation skills High level interpersonal skills at staff and hourly levels Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Engineering support experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in electro-mechanical products design and manufacturing Proficiency in programming / coding at C-level Proficiency in microprocessor and firmware coding Effectively manages continuing engineering projects in a timely manner Meets existing product redesign objectives and schedules
Position Summary
The Electronics Engineer is the Company's subject matter expert for electronics engineering projects for the aviation and military product lines. The Electronics Engineer works closely with a small engineering team including Production Engineer, consulting design engineer, and engineering technicians for product design, continuing engineering, design for manufacturing, and introduction of new and re-designed product to the manufacturing floor. This is a key position with considerable responsibility and related growth opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports regular engineering team meetings for continuing engineering and design projects
- Provides primary electronics design engineering new and existing products
- Works with Production Engineer to provide direct product support of the manufacturing floor
- Supports Quality for root cause and corrective action for products returned from the field
- Provides technical interface with customer engineers for new and existing products
- Provides electronic circuit and printed circuit board design working with consulting engineer
