Essential Responsibilities :
- Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients.
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone, triage appropriately, and offer reassurance and clear guidance.
- Ensure efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits, including accurate and up-to-date medical record documentation.
- Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
- Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, documenting findings thoroughly.
- Assist with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physicals under physician supervision.
- Manage sample medications, referrals, consents for invasive procedures, and patient education materials.
- Maintain clinical supplies, ensure cleanliness and sterility of equipment, and organize patient care areas.
Education and Experience :
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.
