What to Expect

  • Provide expert technical support to NAVSEA / NSWC / MSC clients on Navy ship development
  • Lead critical engineering efforts across various ship design programs
  • Advise on best practices for shipboard electrical generation and distribution systems
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a strong mentorship culture
  • Support technical proposal development and strategic growth opportunities

What is Required

  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or significant US Navy training with an Associate's degree
  • 8-15 years of experience in US Naval Ship Engineering, including 5 years in relevant roles
  • Experience with MSC Transalt work, including ship checks and package development
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • U.S. Citizenship and security clearance eligibility

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Five years of experience leading NAVSEA or MSC engineering team projects
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree
  • Professional Engineering License
  • USCG Engineering License (Chief Engineer, 1st A / E, etc.)
  • Active participation in professional organizations such as IEEE or SNAME
