job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior. Report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client contacts as required. Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to maintain a professional presence throughout the location. Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Professional - Commercial Site Patrol - Full Time
As a Security Professional in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the property, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
