A Fantastic Electrical Engineering opportunity in the greater Dallas area. Make a difference in the product development of state-of-the-art equipment. Be an impact player and have a voice in the company. Take a lead to Advance technology development, product management, design / development of existing equipment, sustaining engineering, and testing of induction heating equipment.
Design resonant converter circuits for induction heating systems. Perform detailed design calculations, select electrical components, and identify potential component vendors to select and qualify parts to meet system needs and cost.
Design product for reliability, safety standards, and EMI mitigation.
Work with firmware engineer(s) to develop new designs and support released products.
Experience with power electronics applications, including induction heating, AC Motor Drives, low-voltage inverters, UPS systems, or similar technologies.
Working knowledge of power semiconductors, IGBTs and MOSFETs, soft switching technologies, and DC / DC conversion.
Minimum Experience / Education Requirements :
Three (3) plus years’ experience in power electronics & Master’s Degree – Focused in Power Electronics (OR) Ten (10) plus years of industry experience in power electronics & BSEE
