Material Handler And Flat Bed Operator - San Diego, Ca

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler / Flat Bed Operator to manage loading and unloading tasks, operate equipment, and perform general maintenance at our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling materials at shipyard facilities and possess the ability to comfortably use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload flatbed trucks efficiently.
• Operate equipment to load materials for various shipyard facilities including Coronado, NI, CMSD, BAE, NASSCO, and the Naval Base.
• Secure materials by strapping them down.
• Move and stage materials with the capability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Operate a sit-down forklift for staging materials.
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and conducting basic preventative maintenance at the manufacturing facility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00 / hr.
