Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Project Manager / Sales professional to support and grow our Receive, Store, and Haul business in Northern California. This role combines operational oversight with business development responsibilities, ensuring our facilities are safe, efficient, and fully utilized while driving new revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities
Review yards and facilities for safety and security compliance.
Monitor facility space, including in / out square footage.Report on space utilization and identify opportunities for optimization.Sales & Business Development :Engage with sales representatives to understand backlog and forecasted demand.
Drive sales to businesses and sectors not currently renting storage space.Help coordinate large storage projects in collaboration with sales reps.Research and understand market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies.Recommend and implement pricing models for per-square-foot storage services.Customer & Market Focus :Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat and referral business.
Present solutions that align with customer needs, project timelines, and budgets.Contribute to business planning and strategy for long-term growth of the division.Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field preferred.Proven experience in project management, operations, or sales (preferably in construction, logistics, storage, or heavy equipment industries).Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to report on facility usage and financial performance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external customers.Ability to balance day-to-day operational oversight with revenue-generating sales activities.Familiarity with pricing models, contracts, and negotiations.Benefits
