job_description.job_card.job_descriptionRepresent clients in removal defense matters , including immigration court hearings and appeals. Manage a varied immigration caseload , including but not limited to asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, waivers, and related relief. Conduct client consultations and maintain regular, clear communication with clients in both English and Spanish. Prepare legal briefs, motions, and other filings with a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the highest standard of legal services. Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the firm's growth and culture. Active U.S. law license (any state). Fluent in Spanish (required). Experience in removal defense . Must be able to work in person at our Richmond, VA office. Positive attitude, enthusiastic work ethic , and commitment to client-centered advocacy. Starting rate at $105,000 annual salary, could be higher depending on experience Quarterly profit sharing . Health, vision, and dental insurance – 100% employer-paid . 401(k) with 4% employer match (eligible after 12 months of service). 5 weeks paid time off , plus some paid federal holidays. 12 weeks paid parental leave . Bar membership and CLEs covered . Free on-site parking. Relocation assistance up to $5,000 , based on distance and expenses.
