What You'll Do :
โ Ensure compliance with training standards, documentation, and SOP-based instruction.
โ Maintain and verify training records, including verification sheets, progress reports, and coaching documentation.
โ Track and monitor 20-40 new hires during their probationary period, focusing on progress, engagement, and retention.
โ Conduct at-risk behavior assessments and provide coaching on safety and performance.
โ Act as the primary contact for new hires, addressing questions, concerns, and engagement issues.
โ Provide feedback to HR and leadership on workforce trends and training outcomes.
โ Conduct annual and compliance training across the department.
โ Obtain and maintain "train-the-trainer" certifications as needed.
โ Analyze and present training data, compliance trends, and progress reports.
โ Identify training gaps and recommend program improvements.
What We're Looking For :
๐น Experience : Minimum of 5 years in a heavy industrial environment. Unionized environment experience required.
๐น Education : High school diploma or GED required. Technical training / certifications preferred.
๐น Skills : Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel / reporting). Ability to interpret SOPs, safety rules, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
๐น Mindset : Assertive, goal-oriented, and proactive. Able to balance multiple priorities and build trust with both leadership and union personnel.
