The Senior Manager, Automation Engineering - Data Modeling and Simulation is responsible for developing and validating innovative engineering solutions to use within the Store fulfillment network to improve customer experience, business demand, and cost to serve. Leveraging large datasets and data visualization to support strategic decision-making and optimize network performance, the role also assists with the design and development of simulation models used to evaluate the efficiency of fulfillment automation systems.

This role is part of the Store Fulfillment team and reports to the Director, Automation Engineering. This is an onsite position based in Bentonville, Arkansas.

What you'll do

• Simulation Modeling : Develop Digital Twins to identify potential bottlenecks and improvement opportunities with design and make recommendations to maximize customer service level and overall return on investment; build 3-D animation and visualization of the simulation model and present to engineering leadership
• Advanced Analytics : Perform extensive SQL-based data extraction, manipulation, and analysis to generate actionable insights; create tailored visualizations that clearly communicate complex findings to both executive leadership and technical engineering teams, supporting data-driven strategic decision-making
• Data Modeling

Develop data models to execute algorithms that drive product put away / replenishment, process flows, order prioritization, order batching, etc. and make recommendations of optimization algorithms that maximize asset utilization, throughput, and system / associate performance.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Stock
