Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Emergency Room

Start Date : November 6, 2025

End Date : January 31, 2026

Duration : 12-week contract

Shift : 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend

Hours per Week : 36

Guaranteed Hours : 48 hours per biweekly pay period (equivalent to 24 hours per week guaranteed)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100-$2250

Emergency Room Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience

Previous travel nursing experience required

Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred

Active New York State Registered Nurse License

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)

Strong clinical skills in trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and pediatric emergency care

Excellent communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and judgment skills

Dedication to patient safety, reliability, and high-quality clinical care

ER RN Responsibilities

Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate emergency nursing care for diverse patient populations

Serve as primary or accountable nurse for assigned patients

Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management

Safely administer medications and adhere to hospital and nursing policies

Promote productivity and effective resource utilization in the emergency department

Comply with all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital protocols

Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education

Integrate evidence-based nursing research into clinical practice

Support new employees and nursing students in a collaborative learning environment

Perform Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator duties as assigned
