We have an immediate need for an Accounting Manager who is eager to grow their career. Our exclusive client, a national distributor , is seeking a senior-level accountant ready to take the next step professionally. This is a high-visibility role offering direct exposure to senior management and ownership , making it an excellent stepping stone toward a Controller-level position .

Key Responsibilities :

• Take full ownership of the general ledger and monthly close process , including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and preparation of the complete month-end reporting package.
• Support and contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes , requiring strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Manage the payroll process , ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with financial statement preparation , internal reporting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain and improve internal controls , accounting policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and executive leadership.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
