Detailed Description : The Assistant Director of Marketing and Fan Experience plays a key role in enhancing the visibility, energy, and impact of USD Athletics through creative marketing strategies, campus engagement, and dynamic game-day presentation. Reporting to the Associate Athletic Director of External Affairs, this position helps lead efforts to grow attendance, generate excitement, and build brand affinity across USD\'s ticketed sports programs and beyond. The Assistant Director also supervises a team of student workers and interns and partners with various campus and community groups to elevate the fan experience and supports the coordination of the USD spirit squads.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Game Presentation & Fan Experience

• Lead the planning and execution of game presentation elements for ticketed sports, including script development, in-venue entertainment, video board content, public address coordination, music selection, and halftime activations.
• Coordinate logistics with spirit teams, pep band, mascot, anthem performers, and special guests.
• Ensure all sponsorship and promotional activations are fulfilled in-venue in coordination with multimedia rights partner.
• Contribute to the creation of graphic and video content for in-game use, in collaboration with creative services.

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
