Job Description

Create a Project Vision and Strategy : Develop and communicate a clear project vision and strategy that will guide consultants and project teams through each phase.

Build Relationships : Establish and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, residents, businesses, and community organizations to foster project success.

Coordinate Project Strategy : Oversee the project strategy, including entitlements, due diligence, and securing necessary jurisdictional approvals, in collaboration with the project team.

Financial Reporting : Ensure financial updates, key milestones, and value-related decisions are communicated accurately and consistently to the VP of Development and Senior Leadership.

Financial Pro Forma Management : Develop, manage, and update a detailed project pro forma and budget from the underwriting phase through to project stabilization.

Schedule Management : Monitor and update a detailed project timeline, from land acquisition through final delivery.

Regulatory Approval : Lead the preparation of reports required for Department of Real Estate regulatory approvals.

Management and Leadership : Responsible for effective management of the full development life cycle of all assigned projects. Responsible for the management, leadership, and motivation of all members of the development team.

The Successful Applicant

Significant years of relevant project experience in real estate development, specifically focused on mixed-use and multifamily housing projects.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as real estate, construction management, business, urban planning, architecture, civil engineering, or equivalent work experience in lieu of formal education.

Comprehensive experience managing the entire development process, from feasibility studies to final delivery, in high-density residential and mixed-use developments.

US Relocation will be considered.
