Position Overview :
We’re seeking a Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations on the production floor, overseeing a team of production personnel. This individual will play a key role in scheduling, planning, and moving jobs efficiently through a custom, job-shop style manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be approachable, strong in leadership, and capable of fostering a positive, team-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, manage, and hold production employees accountable for performance, safety, and quality standards.
- Oversee daily production activities and ensure jobs move efficiently through the shop floor.
- Partner with scheduling and planning teams to coordinate workflow and meet customer deadlines.
- Support and coach production staff, promoting open communication and teamwork.
- Identify and resolve production issues, collaborating with maintenance and engineering as needed.
- Monitor productivity and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
