Supply Chain Leader
The Supply Chain Leader will lead and support the Supply Chain function to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders and the cost-effective use of equipment and inventories.
Essential Functions :
- Provide vision and execution of business process improvements and system enhancements for greater control, operating efficiencies, and best practices.
- Lead, coach, and develop resources towards better supply chain processes, performance metrics, and business analytics.
- Plan, manage and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand
- Identify cost reduction strategies through supplier relationship management, driving supply chain team member communication across divisions, leveraging BI tools, and establishing best-in-class sourcing strategies.
- Execute strategies that consider product development, cost reduction, cost avoidance, and product requirements.
- Initiate and participate in events to engage team members in identifying and implementing process improvements, including process checks to ensure daily standard work is being completed and meeting business needs of on-time, quality, and cost.
- Effectively respond to customer needs to ensure on-time delivery.
- Support SQDC Visual Management Implementation and Utilization for the Supply Chain team and in conjunction with other functions.
- Implement supply chain tools and processes that continuously drive out non-value activity for the supply chain team, internal / external customers, and suppliers. Continuously find ways to move from tactical type activities to strategic activities.
- Analyze supply chain data and performance and recommend solutions and actions to meet or exceed targets.
- Coach, train, and develop team members to ensure facility and department goals are aligned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience :
A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.A minimum of six years of progressive supply chain responsibility.Demonstrated leadership experience.ERP Implementation experience is a plus.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
Knowledge of XA or a similar ERP system.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Ability to travel.Competencies :
