Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Unit Details : Unit : MedSurg / Tele Beds : 17 (average census : 11 patients) Nurse-Patient Ratio : 3–4 : 1 (5 max) Patient Population : Pediatric to Geriatric Common Diagnoses : Orthopedic surgeries (hips, knees, spine) Diabetes Acute Coronary Syndrome Pneumonia Certifications Required : BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) NIHSS Additional Info : EMR : Cerner Scrub Color : Navy Charge Nurse : House supervisor only (no unit-based charge) Support Staff : Unit techs for patient care and telemetry monitoring RT & Pharmacy : Both available 24 / 7 Hospitalist / Intensivist : On call after rounding (not 24 / 7) IV Team : No Floating : Expected (first to float) Cancellation Policy : Up to 4 shifts per 13-week contract
