We are looking to hire a skilled CNC Milling Set-Up and Operator in Mundelein, IL.

Shifts Available : 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Pay Range : $35.00-$45.00 / hr (Based on experience)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes (HAAS equipment)
  • Operate collaborative robots (UR) for automated machine loading
  • Read and interpret G-code and M-code
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize tooling, fixtures, and programs
  • Suggest Design for Manufacturing (DFM) improvements to reduce cost and complexity
  • Maintain a clean, efficient, and organized work environment following 5S principles
  • Support other operations as needed (EDM, Swiss, deburring)

Requirements :

  • 3+ years of experience in CNC mill setup and operation
  • Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills
  • Experience with robot-assisted machining (a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
