Job Description

Eurofins PSS is seeking a Site Director who thrives in the thick of the action. If you’re the kind of leader who rolls up your sleeves, gains respect through expertise, and has a strong focus on people, this is your opportunity.

• Oversees and manages the Rensselaer, NY PSS site
• Manages the day to day operation of the laboratory to insure smooth flow of samples and testing
• Hires, coaches, reviews, manages, and terminates assigned staff
• Oversees the scheduling of laboratory staff to insure production schedules are met
• Counsels laboratory staff with regard to problems encountered in daily operations
• Oversees the orientation of new laboratory staff to their responsibilities and the function of the laboratory
• Identifies process improvements to better meet client expectations and company objectives
• Serves as a liaison for the laboratory to the PSS client
• Performs duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies
• Apply the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility
• Demonstrate and promote the company vision
• Meet all quality and productivity metrics, and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration

Qualifications

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with additional hours as needed as workloads demand.
