POSITION SUMMARY :

The Food Truck Cook is responsible for preparing food items according to recipes, cooking them using various methods like grilling, frying, or sautéing, and plating dishes efficiently in a confined area, all while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards. The Food Truck Cook must also ensure that all customers have a pleasant and safe experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING :

• Cook and prepare food
• Serves food in proper pre-determined portion sizes and at the correct temperature
• Maintains appearance of all equipment and serving counters
• Arranging and presenting dishes according to plating standards
• Restocking of the truck as needed and when needed
• Cleans workstation before and after business hours
• Scrubs, sanitizes, and stores pots and pans, utensils, and dishes
• Performs other related duties as required
• Assists in venue distribution / warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers, and minor equipment maintenance
