Maintenance Superintendent – Immediate Start Available Southeastern Timber Products

We’re looking for a Maintenance Superintendent to join our lumber mill located in Ackerman, Mississippi . Southeastern Timber Products (STP) produces forest products for customers nationally so they can build their homes and their communities.

The Maintenance Superintendent will provide leadership, training, and development to supervisors & hourly personnel by managing the processes, resources, and work force to meet / exceed established budgets and performance objectives.

Post-secondary education in wood processing, business, engineering or related fields would be an asset.

Extensive experience with CMMS and the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs

Excellent computer application skills.

Maintain the highest standards for safety performance, leading with a personal example and a well-communicated vision.

Provide direction, training, and support for all maintenance personnel and foster a highly effective working relationship with all employees

Develop, implement, and maintain effective preventative maintenance programs

Ensure established departmental budgets and performance objectives are met / exceeded by communicating those goals, as well as progress against those goals, on a regular basis; providing necessary training; You will be responsible for achieving targets in productivity, quality, cost control and employee engagement with an uncompromising focus on safety standards.
