Their expertise spans roadway design, traffic engineering, civil site development, water resources, and environmental services.

This firm is seeking an Entry-Level or Early Career Transportation Civil Engineer to join their team. It\'s an excellent opportunity for an early professional who is eager to build hands-on experience in transportation design and planning while working with an experienced team of engineers and project managers.

Position Overview

As a Transportation Civil Engineer, you will support a wide variety of transportation projects ranging from highway design and traffic studies to pedestrian and urban street improvements. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and excited about contributing to projects that improve transportation safety and mobility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and design of transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways, intersections, pedestrian / bike facilities, and safety improvements.
• Collect and analyze data related to traffic, roadway conditions, and design requirements.
• Prepare drawings, plans, and details using engineering software such as MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads, or similar CAD tools.
• Participate in design reviews and client meetings to gain exposure to the full project lifecycle.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards (AASHTO, MUTCD, DOT requirements).
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to strengthen technical skills and project knowledge.
