Base pay range

$55,000.00 / yr - $85,000.00 / yr

While our primary business location is in Auburn, WA, this is a fully remote position open to candidates across the United States. Kinship is currently hiring for this role with the requirement that all candidates be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship. At this time, we are unable to provide sponsorship for work visas.

This position estimates and details jobs as assigned. Deals with a diverse group of external callers as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgement is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload.

Essential Functions

• Reviews construction documents, specifically Division 8 architectural requirements, and understands scope of work to bid.
• Reads plans and project manuals to determine product specifications and material requirements.
• Enters project information into estimating software.
• Prices projects using manufacturers' quotes and price lists.
• Writes cost competitive proposals for bidding projects.
• Provides estimates, budgets, ROM pricing, and / or project guidance to general contractors as needed.
• Details doors, frames and hardware in the schedule; creates elevations; confirms technical aspects of order and ensures that all fire and life safety codes are met.
• Develops project timelines based on capacity from internal departments, outside vendors, and knowledge of production and delivery schedules and communicates with customer accordingly.
• Details, engineers and prepares accurate submittals to meet project specifications.
• Attends virtual departmental meetings as required.
• Efficiently handles multiple tasks and projects, while meeting project specific deadlines.
• Learns new software programs as company grows and industry advances.
