Security Officer - Retail Unarmed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Retail Unarmed Patrol Driver in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents at a bustling retail location by conducting regular patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the area. You will interact with customers and staff, providing exceptional service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Wed 11 : 00 AM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 11 : 00 AM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to site protocols.
  • Assist with access control and / or visitor management as required by site procedures.
  • Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining awareness of surroundings and reporting observations.
  • Collaborate with store management and / or Allied Universal supervisors regarding security-related matters and site-specific needs.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
