job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location. Screen individuals entering the location to verify authorization and compliance with entry requirements. Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or prohibited items. Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and / or contractors, providing information and assistance as needed. Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site-specific protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. A valid guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
