Key Responsibilities
- Sterilize and organize dental instruments for each patient; assist the orthodontist during various procedures.
- Gather and record patients' medical histories for the dentist; provide advice on effective dental care; ensure patient comfort throughout treatment.
- Perform x-rays and other imaging techniques along with taking impressions for dental casts.
- Prepare dental materials, including cements and composites.
- Maintain a clear and dry environment in patients' mouths during procedures; apply topical anesthetics as required.
- Manage dental records and charting effectively.
- Adhere to dental infection control management protocols as per CDC, OSHA, and ADA standards.
- Assist in various clinic areas as needed.
- Promote our services through community engagement and outreach efforts.
