Gardner-Webb University is seeking to fill the role of Office Coordinator for Student Success. This is a part time role of 20 hours per week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : Interns / Student Employees
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE : High school diploma required. Completed Associate’s degree, some completed university coursework, or completed Bachelor’s preferred. Experience in customer service-oriented role, office environment, educational-focused experience preferred. Knowledge of best practices in customer service operations, as well as familiarity with university environments, is a plus.
OTHER PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS : Proficiency with information technology (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, campus-wide database), as well as an understanding of office culture / etiquette, customer service orientation, and data / finance-related processes. Willingness to contribute to Gardner-Webb University’s Christian mission, as well as the Division of Student Success’ guiding values of access, empowerment, inclusivity, partnership, and growth. Understanding of learning environments and the challenges that college student often faces. Strong relational skills, including professional and customer-friendly skills; the ability to function in a team environment; a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
