The Compliance Clerk is responsible for ensuring drivers are within compliance of DOT regulations and may safely operate a commercial motor vehicle.

Schedule : Sunday-Thursday 11pm-9am

Responsibilities of Position :

• Check emails for disqualification / re -qualifications of drivers and ensure out of compliance drivers do not operate a company vehicles
• Check DOT logs from drivers and assist a driver with completing a log as needed
• Check driver times for time clock errors and alert managers for corrections / updates on time punches
• Advise drivers how many hours they have remaining to work to remain within DOT compliance
• Sort and distribute work orders to the correct lines of business
• Distribute keys and DVIR books to drivers as well as return them to correct places upon drivers' return
• Check paperwork for errors and distribute paperwork requiring corrections back to appropriate department and sort / file remaining paperwork
• Assist safety by relaying all reported incidents as well as escorting drivers to the safety department as needed
• Assist maintenance by ensuring all vehicle write-ups are given to vehicle maintenance and keep an accurate list of vehicles downed for repair
• Perform other duties as assigned
