HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Local is seeking a local contract nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a local contract nursing job in Overland Park, Kansas.

Job Description & Requirements

  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, nights

Weekly direct deposit

Contracts, Per Diem and Blocked booking possible where available

Minimum of most recent 1 year of acute care experience in a hospital setting within the specific specialty

Appropriate Certifications as required for specific position

Every other weekend requirement

Commitment of 36 hours per week

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.\n\n

  • BLS, NRP\n\n
  • At least 1-year level III NICU experience\n\nPreferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.\n\n
  • Experience with CPAP / BiPAP, ventilators, central line management, milk preparation\n\n
  • Lab draws\n\nList typical procedures performed on unit(s) : \n\n
  • Assistance with circumcisions, PICC line placement, umbilical line placement\n\n
  • Lumbar puncture, lab draws\n\nBest personality Fit : \n\n
  • Adaptable to a fast pace, ever changing environment\n\n
  • Comes together with team to provide safe and effective care
