FACILITY BRANCH MANAGER
Monday - Friday
7 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm
$90k - $100k per year
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facility / Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our fabrication and manufacturing branch. This role is responsible for leading welders, painters, and production staff, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Facility Manager will also collaborate with upper management, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth operations and drive continued growth.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Supervise welders, painters, production crews, and shop staff.
Assign tasks, monitor workloads, and ensure efficiency across all departments.Recruit, train, and mentor team members; conduct regular performance evaluations.Operations OversightPlan, schedule, and oversee production activities to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
Ensure materials, equipment, and inventory are available, maintained, and utilized effectively.Partner with quality control teams to ensure products meet specifications and standards.Health & SafetyEnforce OSHA compliance, company safety protocols, and best practices.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility environment.Lead safety meetings and promptly address incidents, hazards, or concerns.Financial & AdministrativeMonitor labor hours, production costs, and overall efficiency metrics.
Assist with job costing, budgeting, and identifying cost-saving initiatives.Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to production.Customer & Vendor RelationsCollaborate with vendors to ensure timely supply of required materials.
Provide production updates to sales and customer service teams.Represent the branch in meetings with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.Perform other duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in fabrication and manufacturing operations .Strong technical background in welding, painting, or related fabrication processes.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications.Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems.Proven experience with production scheduling, labor tracking, and efficiency monitoring.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, inventory systems, and similar manufacturing software.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality control systems.Solid understanding of OSHA compliance, safety regulations, and workplace best practices.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.Clear background required.PREFERRED SKILLS
Proven experience managing fabrication / manufacturing operations.Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management processes.Strong vendor and customer relationship management skills.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
