Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Location : Moses Lake, WA 98837 Healthcare Setting : Labor & Delivery Unit Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 9, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour night shifts Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Open Positions : 2 Estimated Weekly Salary : $2520 - $2700 Registered Nurse Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active Washington State RN License (required for all Washington nursing jobs) Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (acute care or specialty nursing preferred) BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers (AHA or equivalent) within 30 days of hire NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification by the American Academy of Pediatrics prior to end of orientation STABLE course completion within 6 months of orientation OB ALS online course within 6 months of Labor & Delivery training AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course within 3 months of L&D training Ability to perform all primary functions of a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, including patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Physical ability to perform frequent standing, walking, lifting, and other patient care activities Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns using the nursing process Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to hospital policies and clinical best practices Identify and address patient and family education needs Accurately document patient care in electronic and / or paper medical records Delegate and supervise the work of other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Demonstrate critical thinking, crisis management, and strong organizational skills Maintain professional growth and stay current with evidence-based practices through ongoing education Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and healthcare organization policies May serve as Charge Nurse, coordinating admissions, discharges, and staff coverage as needed Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Labor & Delivery RN in Moses Lake, WA, and make a difference in the lives of mothers and newborns.
