Corporate Paralegal

Halloran Sage is offering a great opportunity for an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our Hartford office on a direct hire basis. The person in this role will assist attorneys in the closing of commercial real estate financings and other transactional matters.

Qualified candidates must possess the following skills / experience :

• Commercial real estate transactional and financing paralegal experience in a law firm setting
• Draft, review and prepare transactional documents such as purchase agreements, corporate resolutions and closing documents
• Experience and proficiency with matters pertaining to title insurance, including examination of title and survey, and working with title companies to manage closings and resolve issues
• Experience and proficiency with handling commercial closings and preparing closing documents, including, but not limited to, UCC financing statements, closing instruction letters, and closing binders
• Proficiency in electronic recordings and official records searches
• Experience with the formation of corporations, limited liability companies and other entities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization skills and detail-oriented
• Ability to communicate with clients, title officers, and to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook
