CNC Lathe Machinist

One of the Lowcountry's most beloved family-owned job shops in Summerville, South Carolina, is looking for a talented CNC Lathe Machinist to join them, via direct hire. This position is M-F with overtime potential, PTO, and 100% employee covered BCBS health insurance. Starting pay is based on experience and ability to program a CNC Lathe using G Code and hit the ground running!! $30-$40 based on working knowledge and experience.

They are looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist who can :

• Read and interpret blueprints to take parts ordered from a variety of customers through full production.
• Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Utilize Precision Tools machinery and equipment such as a lathe, a milling machine, hydraulic press, saws, and broacher.
• Fabricates and shapes parts such as tools and machine parts out of the metal, plastics, and composites.
• Uses a computer to navigate Erp system software.
• Must be able to program the equipment by G-Code or Mastercam and abide by all ISO requirements and safety procedures.
