Must-Have :

• BLS Certification
• NIH Certification

Description :

Start date of 12 / 15 - Non-negotiable.

36 or 48 hours per week; floating between units / facilities may be required.

Travelers may be asked to float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius of their original assignment.

Floating will be based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity.

Travelers will always be notified before their scheduled shift if a float assignment is required.

Unit capacity is 23 beds.

Population served includes patients with acute medical / surgical disease processes requiring observation or inpatient acute care admission.

Ages of patients served range from young adult to late adult (18 - 60+).

Nurse to patient ratios are 1 : 6.

Core staffing plan includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Interns (NIs).

An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team.
