Job Details : Job Summary

This position is responsible for operation, maintenance, and service of the facility’s ammonia refrigeration system. Candidates will need to demonstrate proficiency in ammonia systems and ability to perform required duties within the regulatory agencies (OSHA / EPA), IIAR, and Tyson standards. The ability to effectively communicate with members of management, engineering, operations / production, and contractors is fundamental to being successful to this role. Mechanical troubleshooting, ammonia refrigeration service experience, ability to multi-task, and self-motivation are required to be successful in this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform and complete operations, preventative maintenance, and repairs of plant ammonia refrigeration systems including but not limited to :

Involvement with Ammonia related Projects

Ammonia evacuations / pump outs

Shaft seal replacements

Understand Functionality and controls

Shaft seal replacements
