Director Of Emergency Management
The Director of Emergency Management leads the University's comprehensive emergency preparedness and response program. This role is responsible for planning, training, prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery efforts. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Administration & Finance, the Director ensures institutional readiness through strategic coordination, policy development, and interagency collaboration.

Required Qualifications :
Master's and 6+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
Department Requirements :
The minimum qualifications for this position include holding NIMS / ICS certifications, specifically ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, ICS-700, and ICS-800. Candidates must possess an in-depth knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS) and have at least seven years of progressively responsible experience in Emergency Management within a public agency or university setting.
