Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is looking for a motivated FAR / DFAR Subcontracts Administrator 5 to support the Advanced Weapons Team in Northridge, California. The Subcontracts Administrator will encompass the preparation of RFP packages and execution of subcontracts while ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures. This position requires you to be onsite with a potential for hybrid / remote.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the entire lifecycle of subcontracts from initiation through completion, including sourcing, negotiations, and execution of agreements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Review and analyze subcontract terms and conditions, negotiating favorable terms to minimize risk and maximize value.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and contractual obligations, including federal, state, and local laws.
• Conduct market research to identify potential subcontractors and assess their capabilities and reliability.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and technical teams to review contract documentation and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services in accordance with project schedules.
• Prepare and present reports on subcontract status, performance metrics, and risk assessments to management.
• Participate in audits and reviews as required, addressing any issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior subcontract administrators and procurement staff.

Primary Level Salary Range : $141,400.00 - $212,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
