Job Description

As a Security Officer- Unarmed Financial Patrol in Plano, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout financial institution locations. Your presence and proactive approach will help create a secure environment for employees and visitors, while your commitment to customer service and clear communication will foster positive interactions. You will embody our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork, acting as a visible representative of Allied Universal's caring and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to management and / or law enforcement as required.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and clients at the location with questions and directions, maintaining a professional presence.
  • Follow all Allied Universal training and guidelines specific to unarmed patrol within financial institutions.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
