As a Cook you will provide residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Avantara Lake Norden by preparing and ensuring residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, planning meals in advance to minimize substitutions, ensuring food supply is adequate, ordering food, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, providing supervision to cooks and dietary aides and following recipes for preparing large volumes of food. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have :

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.  Prior Cook experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
