Utilities Outreach Coordinator

Overview

Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking an Utilities Outreach Coordinator to join our Energy-Electric sector. The Utilities Outreach Coordinator will provide outreach, engagement, and customer service support for electric utility overhead to underground conversion projects. The work scope includes general project and administrative support with client and customer interface and outreach, records management, and project execution. The client's undergrounding program is part of their vision to place customers at the forefront of their efforts to deliver safe, clean, and reliable power to the region. Our objective is to make the customer's experience as easy and convenient as possible, minimizing surprises and disruptions to their daily lives. Desirable traits include attention to detail, diligent work ethic, quality control, and emphasis on customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach and engagement services to customers in the field, including preparing messaging, copy, and materials, as needed.
• Visit customer properties with client teams to gather information, explain utility programs, address concerns, and facilitate communications with survey and design teams.
• Research community values, identifies potential community issues to aid in the planning of project engagement plans with corresponding strategies, tactics, initial scope recommendations, internal deadlines, and draft budgets to achieve program goals.
• Coordinate with client counterparts, including public affairs and corporate communications representatives, on collateral, outreach materials, and any inter-jurisdictional coordination as needed.
• Serve as the day-to-day outreach point of contact for Cordoba's Project Managers.
• Respond to and tracks inquiries and requests from community members and coordinates with Cordoba Project Managers and client representatives, as needed.
• Attend client and community meetings and program events as needed.
• Create other customer outreach and engagement for the project as needed.

Qualifications

Pay Range : $35.00 - $55.00 per hour

Work Location : Hybrid 3-4 days per week in the field for required travel to project sites in the Los Angeles, CA area

Travel : 60-80% travel to project sites (company vehicle provided and overnight stay not required)

Physical Requirements : Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening, background check, and driving record

Visa Sponsorship : Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship
