Description
Job Overview : MidAmerica Nazarene University, located in Olathe, Kansas invites qualified candidates to apply for a part-time Clinical Instructor position in Nursing. The Clinical Instructor is responsible for student education and oversight in clinical facilities, the nursing skills laboratory, and / or the Virtual Patient Center (VPC). This includes attending Clinical Instructor orientation, including facility orientation at all facilities in which the instructor will supervise students, and attending student clinical orientation. The Clinical Instructor will arrive according to schedule at assigned locations and will educate and supervise nursing students in the clinical setting, as directed by the didactic faculty member and Clinical Education Coordinator. This includes student evaluation and grading students' clinical assignments. This is a non-exempt position with a pay rate of $30 / hour while in the clinical or laboratory setting.
