Job Description

The ER Tech works closely with the Emergency Nursing Staff and Doctor and is responsible for ensuring all patients and visitors receive appropriate information and direction. The ER Tech will register and verify all patient information is correct and copy all pertinent information needed to ensure correct billing. The ER Tech will exhibit excellent customer service skills, display courtesy to all patients, staff, visitors, and work in a cooperative manner to fulfill the goals of the Department and Hospital.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
• Previous health experience preferred
• Computer and typing skills a must
• Good communication skills a must
