$40,000 - $68,500

About this Position

The Sponsored Programs Specialist / Coordinator is part of a career development plan and duties will expand depending on experience of candidate and the level of position the candidate is hired in at. Duties will include but not be limited to : pre-award and / or post-award duties; preparation and submission of proposals, research funding opportunities, develop and monitor budgets, facilitate contract negotiations, coordinate and monitor subcontracts.

Required Qualifications

• High School / GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

Four years of experience in sponsored programs administration or another closely related field. Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Ten years of experience in sponsored programs administration or another closely related field. Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience. Professional certification in grants, contracts, or research administration. Ex : Certified Research Administrator (CRA)
