CNC MACHINIST FOR A WEAPONS MANUFACTURER

2nd shift - 3pm to 11 : 15pm +1.50 shift premium

3rd shift - 11pm to 7 : 15am +3.00 shift premium

• NO FELONIES / NO VIOLENT OFFENSES / NO INTERFERENCES WITH OFFICIAL ACTS OFFENSES

CNC Machinist Tasks & Duties

Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects

Must know how to use basic precision measuring tools

Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, and turning

Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc

Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function

Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result

Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly

Day Shift, 11 : 00 pm to 7 : 15 am

Monday - Saturday

CNC Machinist Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

CNC MACHINIST EXPERIENCE A MUST - 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE

GED / High School Diploma

Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Able to pass a background check - NO FELONIES / NO VIOLENT OFFENSES / NO INTERFERENCES WITH OFFICIAL ACTS

Able to work in the US

Proven experience / education  as CNC operator

Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools

Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings

Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD / CAM

Mechanical aptitude and good math skills

Good communication skills

Able to pass a background check

Able to work in the US.
