Permit Manager

Job Description

In search of a Permit Manager (OSP / Fiber Deployment) for an exciting long-term contract opportunity in the Orlando market. Ideal candidate will possess previous permitting experience preferably in the telecommunications industry.

Job Description :

Strategic Permit Leadership : Own end-to-end permitting operations and optimize processes across jurisdictions. Demonstrated success influencing internal and external stakeholders. Permitting experience required.

Risk Navigation :

• Assess and resolve complex permitting risks before they impact field operations.
• Strategic Permit Leadership : Own end-to-end permitting operations and optimize processes across jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated success influencing internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with area zoning, and permitting regulations.
• Strong experience in multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional environments.
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal and vendors functional groups to resolve issues, to facilitate progress and to achieve milestone targets, with the goal of delivering networks on-time and on-budget.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to ensure that resulting designs can be permitted and are cost-effective.
• Identify key opportunities for process improvement, consistency and / or cost reduction.

Pay Range : $30-$35 / HR depending on experience. The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
