We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead crews on heavy civil construction projects. This is a union position that offers competitive union wages and benefits. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience supervising field teams on projects involving roadway construction, underground utilities, and excavation / earthmoving. This role is very much hands-on in addition to supervising, the Foreman may also operate equipment as needed to support project progress. Strong leadership, a commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver high-quality results in the field are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead construction crews on roadway, underground utility, and excavation projects
• Operate equipment and perform field work when necessary to keep crews productive and projects on schedule
• Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project plans and specifications
• Coordinate daily activities, assign tasks, and monitor crew performance
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to resolve issues in the field
• Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate progress to management
• Train and mentor crew members to promote skill development and safety awareness
