Mechanical Test Engineer

Lucideon M+P is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Test Engineer to join our team in Greenville, SC, where you'll work hands-on with advanced materials testing to support clients across aerospace, defense, energy, and healthcare industries. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on practical problem-solving, enjoys direct client interaction, and is excited to grow technical expertise while making a real-world impact. At Lucideon M+P, we specialize in solving complex materials and process challenges across ceramics, metals, and polymers. You're a hands-on engineer who combines technical rigor with curiosity and customer focus. You have :

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical test methods and standards, including tensile, flexural, bend, creep, Charpy, and strain analysis.
• Ability to understand and interpret diverse test standards and client requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills to clearly present findings to clients and colleagues.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (due to client requirements).
